Vicente Balbín Gallego is Senior International Advisor & Head of Iberia at GSC INTERNATIONAL, bringing more than three decades of experience in international banking, strategic advisory, cross-border business development and institutional relations.

Professionally active in Türkiye since 1992, Vicente has developed extensive experience at the intersection of international business, banking and investment, advising and supporting companies, financial institutions, investors and business leaders in their international expansion and cross-border activities.

During his distinguished banking career, Vicente served as Chief Representative of Banco Sabadell’s Istanbul Representative Office, where he played an active role in developing banking, commercial and investment relationships between Spain and Türkiye. His experience encompasses international banking, corporate finance, financial-institution relationships, market entry, strategic partnerships and cross-border transactions.

Vicente has also played a longstanding role in strengthening Spanish-Turkish economic and institutional relations. Through his involvement with the Spanish-Turkish business community, he has developed an extensive network across the corporate, financial, institutional and diplomatic spheres.

At GSC INTERNATIONAL, Vicente leads the firm’s activities across Spain and Portugal as Head of Iberia. He works closely with the international team and clients on cross-border investments, strategic partnerships, international expansion, banking and finance matters, market-entry strategies and business development.

His role extends beyond Iberia. As Senior International Advisor, Vicente contributes his international experience, strategic perspective and professional relationships to selected transactions, investment projects and business opportunities across GSC INTERNATIONAL’s global platform.

Through the Iberia practice, Vicente supports both international clients pursuing opportunities in Spain and Portugal and Iberian companies and investors expanding into international markets, providing a strategic bridge between legal execution, commercial objectives and institutional relationships.
