Requirements
Main Applicant
The main applicant must meet ALL of the following requirements:
• Provide proof of a secure annual income from abroad of at least €50,000, plus €15,000 for a dependent spouse and €10,000 for each minor child.
• Clean criminal record (police clearance certificate).
• Health insurance covering Cyprus.
Eligible Dependents
To qualify as a dependent, applicants must be one of the following:
• Spouse.
• Dependent family members up to the age of 25.

What will happen to residents after Cyprus joins the Schengen Area?
Cyprus is expected to join the Schengen Area by 2026/2027. With accession to Schengen, Cyprus residence permit holders will acquire the right to travel completely visa-free within the Schengen area.
