- Client Service
GSC International treats client information as strictly confidential, and all data collected from clients is protected under attorney-client privilege. Such information will only be processed within the scope of the legal services GSC International provides in accordance with our engagement. The processing of this data will be based on legal grounds, including compliance with legal obligations, contract performance, and the establishment, exercise, or protection of legal rights, as well as legitimate interests of the data controller. Client data will not be disclosed to third parties unless expressly directed by the client or required to fulfill legal obligations.
- Job Applicant
GSC International collects, processes, and retains personal data that may directly or indirectly identify job applicants (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) as part of our recruitment and candidate application procedures. The processing of personal information serves multiple purposes associated with recruitment, including handling applications, assessments, and work permit requirements.
The term “processing” encompasses all activities related to a data subject’s personal information, including the collection, handling, storage, sharing, access, use, transfer, and disposal of such information.
GSC International may process personal information of job applicants for purposes such as evaluating applications, conducting assessments, searching for candidates, and general recruitment activities. The personal information GSC International gathers allows us to identify job opportunities that may be of interest to the applicants. GSC International may occasionally reach out to potential candidates regarding these opportunities.
Generally, GSC International collects personal information directly from the job applicants when they submit applications for positions at our law firm, or through their interactions with us or third parties, such as recruitment agencies. Additionally, GSC International may acquire personal information from third parties, including referees or colleagues who recommend the applicant, or from other publicly available sources where the applicant has shared their information for recruitment purposes.
If GSC International processes personal information based on the applicant’s consent, the applicant retains the right to withdraw that consent at any time, provided there is no other legal basis for such processing.
GSC International may rely on the legitimate interests of our firm to process job applicants’ personal information for the management of applications and general recruitment activities, or as required by applicable laws.
All processing activities will be conducted lawfully, proportionately, and in accordance with the principles established by relevant privacy laws in our jurisdiction. Personal information of applicants will be retained for a period of six months, after which it will be securely disposed of in compliance with applicable regulations, unless we have the opportunity to extend an offer of employment.
GSC International may share job applicants’ personal information internally as necessary for assessment purposes. Such sharing will be limited to what is essential for individuals involved in the recruitment process.
III. Contact
When individuals contact us in its capacity as independent attorneys for our clients (subject to attorney-client privilege and the limited authority granted through power of attorney), GSC International may collect the individual’s name, email address, and phone number, which will be voluntarily provided for the sole purpose of addressing their inquiries.
IV. Supplier
In cases where it engage with suppliers for service procurement, GSC International may collect the supplier’s name, email address, and phone number, which will be voluntarily provided for the sole purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations. This information may be shared with third parties, including public authorities, if necessary to comply with legal obligations.
